Die Dreambox 7020 HD ist der neuste HDTV Receiver mit Linux Betriebssystem von Dream Multimedia. Als grafische Benutzeroberfläche kommt wie gewohnt Enigma 2 zum Einsatz. Angetrieben wird die Dreambox 7020 HD von einem 400 MHz starken Prozessor. Für Plugins und andere Tools stehen 1 GByte Flash und 512 MByte Arbeitsspeicher zur Verfügung. Sie können mit der Dreambox 7020 HD normale SDTV und hochauflösende HDTV Programme empfangen und aufnehmen. Entweder auf die interne Festplatte oder auf ein externes Speichermedium (USB oder eSata).
Für PayTV Funktionen stehen 2 CI Slots und 2 eingebaute Kartenleser zur Verfügung. An der Frontseite der Dreambox 7020 HD finden Sie ein weißes OLED - Display. Neben einem DVB-S2 Sat Tuner können Sie die Box auch mit einem DVB-C Kabel Tuner oder einem DVB-T Terrestrischen Antennen Tuner ausrüsten. Dadurch kann die Dreambox 7020 HD mit allen bekannten Empfangsarten genutzt werden. Für brillante HDTV Bilder schließen Sie die Dreambox per HDMI Kabel an ihr TV Gerät an.
