Der Atevio 7000 HD ist ein HDTV Festplatten Receiver mit Twin Tuner. Das Gerät besitzt 2 DVB-S2 Tuner, womit sie 1 TV Programm anschauen können, und ein anderes aufnehmen können. Als Betriebssystem setzt der Atevio 7000 HD auf Linux. An der Frontseite des Atevio 7000 HD befinden sich 2 CI Slots und 2 Conax Kartenleser. Das Gerät ist baugleich mit dem Octagon SF 1018, beide werden von Fortis produziert. Der Reseller des Atevio ist die deutsche Firma Atelmo.
Zum aufnehmen der TV und Radio Programm können Sie entweder eine interne Festplatte nutzen, oder ein Speichermedium per USB entweder vorn oder hinten anschließen. Des weiteren besitzt das Gerät noch eine Lan Netzwerk Schnittstelle und eine RS232 Schnittstelle sowie einen HDMI Anschluss. Mit 1 Watt im Standby Betrieb erfüllt das Gerät die neusten Stromspaar Richtlinien.
