Für viele ist der Coolstream HD-1 der inoffizielle Nachfolger der beliebten Dreambox. Als Betriebssystem verwendet der Receiver Linux mit der bekannten Benutzeroberfläche Neutrino GUI. Der Receiver Coolstream HD-1 ist ein digitaler HDTV Festplatten Receiver. Der eingebaute Deinterlacer unterstützt Upscaling bis zu 1080p. Weitere Standards sind 720p und 1080i. Über die USB Schnittstelle kann eine Festplatte angeschlossen werden. Dadurch kann man mit dem Coolstream HD-1 TV und Radio Programme aufnehmen. Neben 2 CI Schnittstellen besitzt das Gerät noch einen eingebauten Conax Kartenleser. |
